Design & Setup - The Vimtag VT-361 Super HD WiFi indoor security camera is a compact little camera made of strong and heavy rubber based material. It has a spherical head and silver/black exterior with the Vimtag logo on the front of the unit. On the bottom of the camera, are the lights indicating whether the camera is connected to your Wi-Fi or physically to the router and on the right side of the head of the camera is the speaker phone. On the back, you can find the port for physical connection with the Internet cable, another square for connecting the camera with an alarm, threaded mount for the antenna and a micro SD card slot with capacity of up to 32 GB of memory. To the right of the camera is a function button to assist in connecting it to the home network.

The setup of the camera is quite easy and simple. The very first time, you need to physically connect the camera to your router. On successful connection, the camera light below the router symbol will flash green 3 times. Once the camera setup including connecting to your Wi-Fi is done, the light below the Wi-Fi symbol will change from red to green. You can now unplug the camera from the router and place it anywhere within your home.

Field of View - One of the most important aspects of the Vimtag VT-361 Super HD WiFi Security Camera is the 320-degree x 120-degree tilting facility of the camera which means it can easily cover the entire room. You can position and tilt the camera according to your needs. Another impressive feature of the indoor security camera is that you can control it with a smartphone or a tablet allowing you to position the camera at the desired angle remotely. Through the smartphone app, you can easily position the security camera at the desired angle - you can swipe to rotate the camera left and right by 320 degrees and up and down by 120 degrees.

Detection of Motion - The Vimtag VT-361 Super HD WiFi Security Camera is able to take snapshots and recordings of anything within view that triggers its motion sensor when the camera's alarm option is turned on. The alarm option provides you with the flexibility to choose when you want the camera to be active and when to turn it off. Whenever you leave home, you can simply turn the alarm on and track if any photos or videos are captured using your Smartphone app.

Resolution - The camera is known for its stunning HD video quality 1280 x 720p at 25 fps providing you with crystal clear imaging. The 3.6 mm lens and the 4X zoom add to the quality of the picture.

Smartphone App - The various functions of the security camera can be setup using the MIPC app which needs to be installed on your Smartphone, tablet or PC. The main page of the app displays all the cameras that you have installed and how many times motion was detected for each camera. One very impressive feature with the app is that it allows you to control the security camera remotely. Using the app, you can change the directions of the camera as and when required.
